Romanian tennis player Simone Halep made comments about her loss in the match of 4th round of the Australian Open against Serena Williams. Throughout the 3 games, she lost to Serena with a score of 1: 6, 6: 4, 4: 6.
“I was not lost at all following the defeat in the first game. I realized that I had a completely different degree of play, but I have lot of opportunities to improve my game. I started to go much better and hit the ball more powerfully.
Game after game, I felt that my degree of play and conviction are increasing. Serena played brilliantly. I tried to be more persistent, but unfortunately in some cases I was not so lucky,” - commented Halep for Tennis World USA.
The current champion of the Australian Open is the Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki. In the final game of last year , she won Halep with a score of 7: 6 (7: 2), 3: 6, 6: 4.
