A pair of Western Conference teams take the floor in the Sooner State looking to pick up a victory. The Memphis Grizzlies are on the road as they make the trip to face the Oklahoma City
Thunder Thursday night. Memphis comes in off a 108-106 home win over Minnesota in their previous contest Tuesday night. Oklahoma City knocked off Orlando 132-122 at home on
Tuesday night in their last game. The Thunder owns a 60-26 advantage in the all-time regular season series and have won the last seven meetings, including a 137-123 home win in the last
meeting on April 11, 2018.
Memphis started 2019 2-15 but comes into this one with back to back wins as they downed the Knicks and Timberwolves. The Grizzlies entered Wednesday 14th in the Western
Conference, eight games behind the Clippers for the final playoff spot. Memphis led by 13 after the opening quarter and by 12 at the half yet found themselves tied at 106 in the final seconds.
Justin Holiday hit a pair of free throws with 0.1 seconds to play to give the Grizzlies the win. Memphis shot 41.9 percent from the field, including 15 of 34 from three-point range, and
overcame a 55-39 disadvantage on the glass. Mike Conley led the Grizzlies with 25 points and nine assists in the win. Memphis is 11-16-1 ATS on the road this season while the under is 19-9
in those games.
Oklahoma City bounced back from a loss to Boston as they earned their eighth win in their last nine games by downing Oklahoma City. The Thunder entered Wednesday third in the Western
Conference, 3.5 games behind the Warriors for the top spot: they are three games behind the Nuggets in the Northwest Division. Oklahoma City trailed by seven at the half before
outscoring Orlando 36-23 in the third quarter. The Thunder held the Magic in check in the fourth to get the win. Oklahoma City shot 50 percent from the field, including 13 of 30 from three-
point range, and won the rebounding battle 49-40. Paul George led the Thunder with 39 points and eight rebounds in the win. Oklahoma City is 14-11 ATS at home this season while the over
is 16-8-1 in those games.
